The Festival is produced by the Johnstown Area Heritage Association (JAHA) and has been sponsored by AmeriServe Financial for 13 years. JAHA is a non-profit organization that exists to preserve and present Johnstown’s nationally significant stories to the nation. It operates the Johnstown Discovery Network, which includes the Johnstown Flood Museum, Heritage Discovery Center, the Wagner-Ritter House and Garden, as well as the new Johnstown Children’s Museum. The music festival is just one of the various special events that JAHA produces throughout the year.
The event is held in Johnstown Festival Park adjacent to downtown. There are 3 stages featuring continuous musical performances throughout the duration of the festival. Bands will be jamming on Friday from 5:30 – 11:30pm, Saturday from noon – midnight, and Sunday from noon – 10:00pm.
Make sure you come to the festival on an empty stomach! In addition to the 30 musical acts that are lined up for the weekend, the festival will offer a variety of ethnic foods. Get some Western PA favorites like pierogies, halushki, and pigs-in-a-blanket. If you’re seeking Greek, Mexican, or Asian food, you’ll find these delicious menu items as well.
