Safari in the Laurel Highlands
April 28th, 2009

Exciting, new attractions are popping up all over the Laurel Highlands! Idlewild & SoakZone will kick off their season May 21 with an amusement park packed full of entertainment. “Safari Hut” in Jumpin’ Jungle will make you feel like you’re exploring an exotic jungle, without the long plane ride overseas!
“Safari Hut” is a play structure with two spiral slides built atop an 8 foot wide Eucalyptus tree trunk. The tree trunk has a passage cut through so you can explore the inside of this massive jungle treasure. A top the tree trunk sits the observation deck area where you can see all the “wildlife” of Jumpin’ Jungle in its natural habitat. Then you can slide down one of the two spiral slides and join in on all of the Jungle fun! The whole family can take part in the Safari adventure!
