The Big Savage Tunnel

Riding the Great Allegheny Passage!
What a great day on the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail. We pedaled hard to the Big Savage Tunnel and found it a cool respite from the hot sun. We crossed the continental divide. Pretty cool. The scenery was beautiful, and the giant wind turbines create a surreal effect as you travel on the bike trail. The night before we camped at Ohiopyle State Park, where we had a comfortable sleep in our new tent, and a delicious campfire meal. So many places to enjoy the outdoors in the Laurel Highlands.
