Food Festivals in the Laurel Highlands
April 6th, 2009
Who doesn’t love to eat festival food? In the Laurel Highlands you will find a delectable selection of special events for foodies of all ages. The highlight of the popular Pennsylvania Maple Festival held in Meyersdale each spring is the ritual tapping of the trees and enjoying a stack of buckwheat cakes with fresh Pennsylvania maple syrup. Don’t miss Seven Springs Mountain Resort’s annual Wine and Food Festival in August or the annual Chocolate Affaire in September. Spud lovers will not want to miss the 18th Annual Ebensburg PotatoFest where potatoes are served up any way imaginable. Check out the region’s other special events at www.laurelhighlands.org, where you will be sure to find something delicious to eat!
